This was for the monthly calendar at The Freight in Berkeley, showcasing Grammy Award-nominated Dom Flemons for their February 2026 calendar lineup. 

I was asked to pitch more than one sketch idea (shown below) before moving into the final line drawing. It was especially exciting to see the printed calendar out in the wild in Oakland at the Sandwich Board!
